As the summer off-roading season comes to an end and we
prepare for winter, I’d like to recap this year’s adventures – and give a
preview of what we’re planning next year.
We started off slowly, but had a great season of 4 wheeling.
The highlight of our summer was the first annual FJ Summit in Ouray. We had a great time wheeling in Summit county 2 different
times. We bagged 6 new passes, and hit trails in Teller, El
Paso, Ouray, Routt, and Douglas
counties.
While this year was great, the coming season will be even
better.
We’re planning to hit the Georgtown Ice Races (with the
Colorado FJ’s group). We’ll probably get out to Moab for the Cruise Moab event. The
2008 FJ Summit will be in Ouray in July, you KNOW we’ll be there. We’ll do many
more short weekend runs as well. There are places in Chaffee, Saguache, Pitkin,
Gunnison, and Fremont
counties that we’d like visit. 2008 is promising to be another amazing year!
