We're planning a trip for the 16th of December. Since it's winter, we're not sure where to go. We've got it narrowed down to three trails:

Switzerland Trail (http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=20) - Near Boulder

We made it up to Switzerland trail - only to find that most of the trail was covered in snow. We made it less than 1/4 mile down the main trail, so we backed out & looked for other trails in the area.

We ended up spending about 2-3 hours on different smaller trails, and had a pretty good time.

That's the problem with Winter off-roading, you never know what you'll be able to do.

We're all looking forward to the spring, so we can get muddy!
